sometimes when i play hangman, and i try and find the link back to the main page, before all that i get...

i've gotten that as well, think it's php coding gone bad, but not completely sure

As far as I know, that's always been there. My understanding is that J didn't know how to fix it, since he got permission from the developer to incorperate it in to the site. So since he didn't code it, he isn't sure how to fix it.

I get that often. That is something to do with the database having the hiccups.

I think this has come up before. I've never seen it, but then again, I don't play Hangman very often. Oh well. As long as the game is playable, it's a minor annoyance, I suppose.

If, in fact, this is a depricated function, then it has nothing to do with the database. I looked this function up in the php reference manual, and it seems it's been depricated as of php version 5.3.0. To get rid of the notice, he ould have to switch it over from using ereg_replace() to preg_replace().
